I'm learning to be patient and pedal as easily as possible.
Place ego below the practicality of using a low gear.
There is virtue in using the granny gear.
I have spoiled many rides by not using it.
Last evening was a 35mi. hilly, hot, fluid deficient ride.
Else, a great ride - very nice roads. Back and Quads complained at end... would have been better if I had feuled myself better.
